At 11:00 a.m. today (March 13, 2015), Mr. Phisit Phisitbadee, an officer from the "Phayak Paai" team of the Royal Forest Department, along with a team of officers, traveled to file a complaint at the Environmental Crime Suppression Division (ECD) and the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Bang Khen District, to prosecute a group of capitalists who occupied and encroached on the Tok Phrom National Forest Reserve, Bo Welu Subdistrict, Khlung District, Chanthaburi Province. The encroached area was found to be over 919 rai, to plant durian and other economic plants, totaling over 12,000 trees, along with buildings, both concrete roads and various buildings, including the construction of a large pond to support systematic gardening.
